The Vitosha mountain is located just south of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. This beautiful scene was captured this winter (2018) after driving out of the city and climbing by car for 30 minutes to reach Aleko-hut.

Shot while clipped into the slab at the Kominite climbing area. I’m overlooking Sofia, Bulgaria on the Vitosha mountainrange. My guide’s boots were perched just above the anchor and made for this shot. One of the best climbing days of my life.
